How do I select/update my communications preferences? (Resident)

How to select communications preferences in Pilera?

In this article we will show you how you to set your communications preferences.    Messages from your community will be sent to you via the communications preferences you have set.   Depending on which products your community has purchased you can receive email communications (included with all packages), and in some cases you can also choose to phone or text (if your community has purchased the phone & text add on option).

1.  Login to Pilera and you will be brought to your Dashboard page.   From there, click on "View Profile"




2.  From your profile page, select "Edit"


3.  From there, you can add or edit your contact information, and then select your communications preferences.   You can choose as many as you like (this is not limited to just one preference).   You can also update your language preference if you like.    We can send your phone messages to you in Spanish, and have over 100 choices available for email and text.



4.  Check off "Update your Information" at the bottom of the screen to save your settings.  You can always check your settings when you are in your profile page.  If there is a star next to the method of communications, that means it is selected as a communications preference.
