How do we notifiy a resident on the status of their work order?

Summary/Goal:


In this article we will discuss the steps necessary to keep a resident informed on the status of the work order they submitted.


Step by step:

 
  1. In the work order ticket select ‘add comment/Change setting’ button.


     
  2. When you change the status or add a comment select ‘yes’ under the ‘Notify Contact Via Email’ field. Once you submit the change the information will be emailed to the resident or whomever originally filed the work order.  You can also choose to show those comments to the resident in their own Unit Work Dashboard.

Keeping a resident/manager informed on the status of their work order is easy within Pilera. It’s as simple as checking the right box!
